Edinburgh Day 23 (8/20)

So far our luck seems to be holding, and with the team healthy enough we are moving forward with performances again. This meant that, after the morning routine, we rearranged the living room in the actor flat so that we could host the entire production for a rehearsal ahead of our show that evening.

Rehearsal went well, and it felt good to be back and doing what we had come to EdFringe to do. Once rehearsal broke up, I wandered around Leith a bit, running errands and exploring some. Then, before heading into town for the show, I made a quick stop at a tattoo parlor up the street and had a consultation with an artist. Looks like I’ll be getting some new ink tomorrow!

Then, it was on to Greenside, where a whole new group of folks were around. The show that had previously been on before ours had switched time slots, so now we were preceded by a large dance show. This is nice, because they have much less set, making their load out faster, but that’s balanced out by having a much larger cast, meaning that backstage is much more crowded.

We played to an audience of ~8 folks, including both friends of the production and strangers (who made a point of saying this was the last show they’d see for their Fringe, and it was a great way to close it out!).

A bunch of folks then headed off to a restaurant to grab some food and drinks, and celebrate both our return to the stage, and Seth’s Scotland debut with the show!
